  • Can I get 'stuck' in Hypnosis?

A common misunderstanding about hypnosis is that you can get ‘stuck’ in hypnosis. It is impossible to be ‘stuck’ in hypnosis and has never occurred in the 4000 years of people being hypnotised. However, hypnosis feels so amazing you will wish that you could get stuck.

  • Do I lose control under hypnosis?

There is no loss of control under hypnosis as you are fully aware during your session. You would never do anything under hypnosis that you wouldn’t normally do or anything that goes against your moral or religious views.

  • How do I know if I can be hypnotised?

Hypnosis is your mind’s natural state. The only reason a person may find it difficult to enter into a hypnotic state is that there are underlying fears or misconceptions. All fears and misconceptions around hypnosis will be discussed before beginning the session to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease.

  • What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis feels like being physically, mentally, and emotionally relaxed. Some people feel like they are in a daydream. Others have said that it feels just like the moments before you drift off to sleep.

  • How long are the hypnosis sessions?

Your initial hypnosis consultation is 90mins with any follow up consultations lasting 60 mins.

  • How many hypnosis sessions will I need?

This depends on what is being treated. Certain issues may be resolved in just one session, whereas others may require multiple sessions.

  • What do you feel under hypnotic anaesthesia?

Through learning the skills and techniques required, you may condition your mind to reduce the feeling of discomfort from above the knees to below the breast. Any loving touch or sensations may still be felt and in this state you can still walk, talk, and function normally.
